Pre Wedding Shoot: Alex & Adam's in The Leicestershire Countryside

When I moved to The East Midlands I said to my wife, "I'd love to shoot a wedding here."

I was referring to my own village church in the picturesque Barkestone-le-Vale.  When Alex and Adam asked me to shoot their wedding, of course I jumped at the chance.  Well, the wedding is fast-approaching and as Alex and Adam had chosen to add a pre-wedding shoot to the package, we thought it rude not to stay home - in our own village.

Across the whole nation, it's been a summer to remember: beach-quality heat, lasting summer Sun and stunning sunsets.  I love a sunset.

On this particular August evening, a stroll amongst the cows preceded a visit into a crop-filled field, ready for harvest.  The Sun treated us to a spectacular show as it retired for the night.

While we might not get a sunset this coming weekend for the wedding day, it certainly shone for us on this particular evening and for that, we are grateful for that.
