Mary & Stefan's Cool Winter Wedding
In December of last year, I had the immense pleasure of photographing the wedding of Mary & Stefan in the beautiful Lancashire village of Singleton.
My day began with the bride at Mary's mum's house where the ladies prepared for the ceremony with fresh fruit, croissants and champagne - It would be rude not to, of course.
I loved Mary's choice of wedding dress - its simple design made for a cool, bohemian elegance which matched the feel of the whole day.
Stefan and his groomsmen had chosen the Miller Arms in Singleton as their starting point: a couple of single malt drams, no doubt settling any prenuptial nerves.
The church at Singleton is a venue at which I have photographed several times and it's not surprising that it's such a popular place to tie the knot. Tucked away in one picturesque corner, nestling amongst the woodland, the church waited for Mary's arrival.
A lovely ceremony preceded one of the coolest post-wedding parties that I have had the pleasure to be a part of. The appearance of the groom's own band DatBrass made the occasion all-the-more personal and the fact that the band absolutely rocks made the dance floor rock too. I loved it. We all loved it.
Congratulations to Mary & Stefan
