Winter Wedding at Heskin Hall
I love winter weddings. I love halls with character and charm, which the grade 1 listed Heskin Hall has in bucket-loads.
Si and Nat were married at Heskin Hall in the sumptuous surroundings of the drawing room, where the low, winter light made for a cosy, warm and elegant stage.
Brides get miffed when people stand on their dress but when it happens during the actual ceremony and the perpetrator is the groom's brother, then you have to laugh.
The day began at Nat's hairdressers and then back home for final bridal preparations, lubricated by a suitable amount of orange liquid in champagne flutes. I would be a shame not to.
The gentlemen were in the pub so I met them before we made our way over to the venue.
Si & Nat are good friends of mine so it made the fact that I was to be their photographer even more special. By the way, we're still friends after the event, so that must say something positive, right?
