Hello

I'm Christian and I'm the chief photographer at Millhouse Photography.  The name, Millhouse Photography, is very special to me - I live in a windmill in the Vale of Belvoir with my wife, Lindsay and we've resided here for just over a year.  Definitely a dream-come-true.  Our life in our conical tower, just like my photography is certainly not 'run of the mill!"

Who am I?

I'm a friendly, creative and fun-loving soul and I carry this into your wedding day - creating stunning images to add to your memories of the best day of your life.

Where do I operate?

I live in the Vale of Belvoir which is very close to the wonderful cities of Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln but I will happily travel anywhere in the East Midlands, West Midlands and Yorkshire.  Hailing originally from Lancashire, I travel up to the North West of England regularly to photograph weddings as I have family that I stay with.  So, I have two bases really - a Midlands and a Lancashire base.

My Style

My style?  A mixture of approaches.  When its time for me to sneak around and capture those candid moments, I do that.  When it's time to create an image of the two of you that you'll print large and display in your home, I do that.

Above all, my work is my 'art'.  I love it.

I'm an extremely polite, well-mannered and very nicely turned-out gentleman.  That's important as I'm effectively a guest at your special day.

Christian did an amazing job at the wedding of Holly and Mark my daughter and son -in-law. He captured the day and night perfectly. The photos are fantastic he just seems to have the knack of mixing high quality professionalism with natural and relaxed photos. He brings out the best in people and considering my daughter was dreading being photographed he had her posing like a model! He gets everywhere but is not intrusive.

Christian did such a fantastic and professional job with our wedding pictures! From discussing how we wanted the pictures to be and look before the wedding, right through to the final product. He listened to all our ideas and took them on board, whilst suggesting his own and delivered an outstanding set of photos that we will enjoy for years to come. Highly Recommended!

This is me, fiddling with an old camera.  To be honest, I don't even think that it still works.      Just thought it produced the right 'vibe' for the selfie.

My wife and I love our windmill home, although it lost its sails long ago.  The tale goes that a previous owner was hit by a flailing sail during a particularly violent storm, eons ago.  After that, he removed the sails.  To be fair, I think I would have done too.
